Description: Accidentally introduced into this country from Australia, probably in the 1930's, it has rapidly spread across the UK and is now very common throughout. It has a wingspan of 16-25 mm and the basal half of forewing usually well demarcated. An extremely variable species with numerous recurring forms. |
